The temple Samithi was founded in 1979 under the name of “Sree Vidya Ganapathi Seva Samithi”. It was registered in 1980 as “Ganapathi Seva Samithi” and established the Ganesha Temple and started several activities.

Locally it is famous as Techie Ganapathi as well
